MATERIALS:
Choose one of the following threads in White, size 80:
Clark's O.N.T. Mercerized Crochet.
J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 14.

GAUGE: 9 sps make 1 inch; 9 rows make 1 inch.

Starting at bottom of chart, ch 24 to measure ⅞ inch. 1st row: D c in 4th ch from hook, d c in each of next 5 ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, d c in next ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, d c in each of next 10 ch. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: D c in 4th ch from hook, d c in next ch, d c in each of next 4 d c, ch 2, skip 2 d c, d c in each of next 4 d c, d c in each of next 2 ch, d c in next d c, ch 2, d c in next d c, ch 2, skip 2 d c, d c in each of next 3 d c, d c in 3rd st of turning ch. Ch 3, turn. Hereafter, starting at 3rd row, follow chart to top. Then repeat entire design for desired length.
