Trace one 6¾-inch circle (body) and two 2-inch circles (head) on felt. Mark 5 points, ½ inch deep, along a 2-inch area at edges of small circles (comb), and 1 larger point 1 inch away from last point of comb (beak). Cut out pieces. Sew crocheted and felt body pieces together along outer edge. Fold in half. Place felt head pieces between crocheted head pieces and sew all together, from bottom of beak to end of comb. Slip head over one end of folded body, and sew each side of head individually to body. Use small buttons or embroider eyes, as desired.
