3-80 yd. Skeins Dark Brown or any Color desired. .
Bone Crochet Hook #6.
1 Pr. Inner Soles.

Work soles same as soles #4708.

Upper Section—Work 1st 17 rows same as slipper No. 4708 but alternating rows by working 1 row in back loop of st and 1 row in front loop of st.

18th Row—1 s c in 1st 7 s c, sl st in next s c, turn.

19th Row—Skip the sl st, sl st in next s c, 1 s c in each remaining s c, ch 1, turn.

20th Row—1 s c in 1st 5 s c, sl st in next st, turn.

21st Row—Same as 19th row.

22nd Row—1 s c in 1st 3 s c, sl st in next st, turn.

23rd Row—Same as 19th row.

24th Row—1 s c in 1st s c, sl st in next st, turn.

25th Row—Skip the sl st, s c in next s c, break yarn. With wrong side of work toward you attach yarn in 8th st from left side of work, 1 s c each of the next 7 s c, ch 1, turn. Continue same as opposite side reversing the shaping. Turn and work a row of s c across top edge of section working 1 s c in each row and 1 s c in each s c, working in both loops of st, break yarn.

Heel Section—Ch 2, 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, ch 1, turn, working in pattern same as front section.

2nd Row—2 s c in s c, ch 1, turn.

3rd Row—Increase 1 s c at the beginning of row, ch 1, turn.

4th Row—Increase 1 s c at end of row.

Repeat the 3rd and 4th rows twice.

9th Row—Same as 3rd row.

Work even for 14 rows (12-16).

Next Row—Decrease 1 s c at the end of row.

Next Row—Decrease 1 s c at beginning of row.

Repeat the last 2 rows 3 times. Work a row of s c across straight edge of section, break yarn.

Sew front and shaped part of heel section to soles as illustrated.
