With Yellow, ch 6, join and work 2 s c in each st of ch, join.
2nd Row—Ch 4, 4 d c in same space, slip loop off hook, insert in 1st d c and pull loop through, * ch 3, 5 d c in next s c, sl loop off hook, insert in 1 st d c and pull loop through (popcorn st), repeat from * 10 times, ch 3, join.
3rd Row—Ch 1 and work 3 s c in each ch 3 loop, join and work 1 more row of s c working into the back loop of st only.
5th Row—Ch 3 and work a popcorn st with ch 3 between each popcorn st in every other s c, join.
6th Row—Work 5 s c in each ch 3 increasing one st in row (91 s c), break thread.

PETAL—Join White and work 1 s c in each of the 1st 5 s c, ch 1, turn and work 2 rows of s c.
4th Row—Increase 1 st in 2nd s c, work across row and work 2 rows of s c even. Repeat the last 3 rows until there are 12 s c in row and work 11 rows even.
Next Row—Skip the 1st s c, 1 s c in each remaining s c. Repeat the last row until 4 sts remain, break thread.
Skip 2 s c around Yellow center and work a petal on next 5 sts. Work 11 more petals in same manner, break thread.

EDGE AND JOINING ROW—Attach Yellow to base of one petal and working into each row of side of petal, work 6 s c, ch 3, 6 s c, ch 4, * 6 s c, ch 5, repeat from * 3 times, 6 s c working the last 2 s c in 1st 2 s c on top of petal, ch 5 and work other side of petal to correspond, sl st to base of petal, sl st across next 2 s c of center of flower and into base of next petal work 6 s c in 2nd petal, ch 2, join to corresponding picot of previous petal (to join slip loop off hook, insert in ch of opposite picot and pull loop through), ch 2, 6 s c, ch 2, join to next picot, ch 2, 6 s c, ch 3, join to next picot, ch 3, 6 s c, ch 3, join to next picot, ch 3 and complete 2nd petal same as 1st petal. Join all petals in same manner joining last petal to previous and 1st petal, sl st to base of petal and across next 2 s c of center, join, break thread.
