2nd Row. 3 d c, ch 2, 3 d c in 2 ch loop, skip 2 d c, tr c in next d c, ch 4, turn.
3rd Row. 3 d c, ch 2, 3 d c in 2 ch loop, tr c in 4 ch loop of previous row, ch 4, turn, and repeat 3rd row for length desired.
On one end of insertion work scallop as follows—
9 tr c with ch 1 between in 1st loop, * ch 2, skip 1 loop, s c in next loop, ch 2, skip 1 loop, 9 tr c with ch 1 between in next loop and repeat from * across row.
