REQUIREMENTS:
YARN: 5-ounces of Baby Pompadour, Nylon or Sport Yarn.
1-ounce of Contrasting color.
CROCHET HOOK: 1-steel #00

2-yds. of Narrow Ribbon

DRESS: Starting at the neck edge, make a chain of 32 sts, turn; 1 d c in 4th st from hook, 2 d c in each of the remaining sts, (58 sts). Ch 3, turn. 2nd row: 1 d c in each of the next 9 sts, ch 7, skip 9 sts, 1 d c in next 20 sts, ch 7, skip 9 sts, 1 d c in last 10 sts. Ch 3, turn. 3rd row: 1 d c in each of the next 9 sts, 1 d c in each of the ch-7 sts, 1 d c in next 20 sts, 1 d c in each of the ch-7 sts, 1 d c in last 10 sts. Ch 3, turn. 4th-5th and 6th rows: 1 d c in each stitch across row. At the end of the 6th row—join with a slip st to ch-3 at beginning of row. SKIRT: Pulling up the sts 1¼ inches throughout the complete skirt: 1st and 2nd rounds: Make 2 d c in each st around. Join rounds. 3rd round: Make 2 d c in every other stitch. 4th round: Make 2 d c in every 3rd st around. 5th and 6th rds: Make 2 d c in every 6th st around. 7th and 8th rds: Make 1 d c in each st around. Finish with a picot edge (see instructions for picot edges). SLEEVES: With the right side of the work facing you, tie yarn at underarm. Make 22 d c around armhole. Join round. Finish with a picot edge. Neck edge: Make a picot edge around.

BONNET: Make a chain of 4 sts; join with a slip st to form a ring. Pulling up the sts 1¼ inches: Make 24 d c into ring. Join round. 2nd and 3rd rounds: (pull up the sts ¾-inch): Put 2 d c in every other st, join round. Next row: Ch 3, turn, working in regular d c—make 1 d c in each of the next 48 sts. Repeat last row twice more. Ch 3, turn. Frill: 1 d c in same space as ch-3, 2 d c in next st, 2 d c in each of next 2 sts pulling up the loops to a ½ inch; 2 d c in each of the next 5 sts pulling up the loops to ¾-inch; 2 d c in next 5 sts pulling up the loops an inch; 2 d c in next 21 sts pulling up the loops 1¼-inches; now work down the other side to correspond. Break yarn. Tie in contrasting color and work 1 row of picot all around bonnet. Fasten off. Run ribbon though last row of d c.

PANTIES: Make a chain of 45 sts, join to form a ring. Ch 3, 1 d c in each chain st (45 sts); join round. 2nd-3rd-4th rounds: Ch 3, 1 d c in each st around; join rounds. 5th row: Ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 6 sts. Ch 3, turn. 6th row: 1 d c in each of the 6 sts. Ch 3, turn. 7th row: Repeat 6th row. Break yarn, leaving 5-inches. Sew the 7 sts to center of other side to form a crotch. Make 1 row of picot around each leg opening and 1 row of s c around top of panties.

BOOTIES: Make a chain of 5 sts, turn; 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the chain sts (4 sts). Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: 1 s c in each st across row. Ch 1, turn. 3rd row: Work across row in s c increasing 1 st in row. Repeat these last 2 rows until 11 rows have been completed (sole part). Now s c all around sole for 5 rows. Finish with picot edge. Bootie tie: Using the contrasting color, make a chain of 50 sts. Fasten off. Tie bootie on doll's foot. Make the other bootie the same way.

PICOT EDGES: Using the contrasting color. * Make 1 s c in first 3 sts, ch 3, slip st back in 3rd st from hook (picot); repeat from * around. Join and the break yarn.
