6 skeins Light Green or color desired
1 Pr.—12 inch Knitting Bag Sticks
Aluminum crochet hook, Size F

Gauge: 4 d c = 1 inch

Work 53 s c over the bar of stick, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row—1 d c in each s c, ch 3, turn.
3rd Row—1 d c in each d c increasing 10 sts evenly spaced (63 sts), turn.
4th Row—Ch 3 (counts as 1 d c), 1 d c in each of the next 6 sts, * popcorn st in next st (popcorn st: 4 d c in same st, drop loop off hook, insert hook in 1st d c and pull loop through, ch 1 to tighten st), 1 d c in each of next 7 sts, repeat from * across row working last d c in 3rd st of ch, ch 1, turn.
5th Row—1 s c in each d c and 1 s c in each popcorn st, ch 3, turn.
6th Row—1 d c in each of next 2 sts, * popcorn st in next st, 1 d c in each of next 7 sts, repeat from * 7 times, pop­corn st in next st, 1 d c in each of the remaining 3 sts.
7th Row—Same as 5th row.
8th Row—Same as 4th row.
9th Row—Same as 5th row, ch 4, turn.
10th Row—Skip 1 st, d c in next st, * ch 1, skip 1 st, d c in next st, repeat from * across row, ch 4, turn.
11th Row—D c in next d c, * ch 1, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row, working last d c in 3rd st of ch, ch 4, turn.
12th Row—Same as last row but ch 1 to turn.
13th Row—* S c in next d c, s c in next loop, repeat from * across row working last s c in 3rd st of ch, ch 3, turn.
14th to 23rd Rows—Same as 4th to 13th rows.
24th to 27th Rows—Same as 4th to 7th rows, cut yarn.
Work another section in same manner. Sew side and bottom seams to within 2 inches from each side of sticks.

Cord: Cut 18—32 inch lengths of yarn, tie together about 2 inches from one end for tassel. Divide yarn into 3 parts and braid to within 2 inches from end, tie and trim to form tassel. Tie each end to stick as illustrated. Finish opposite handle in same manner. Line bag if desired.
