Steel Crochet Hook No. 00.
Finished Rug measures about 34 inches in diameter.
For a smaller rug use "STAR" Cotton Yarn, Article 75.
14-100 yd. Skein's Lt. Green.
5-100 yd. Skeins Cream.
With Green, ch 5, join to form a ring and work 8 s c in ring, do not join or turn rounds.
2nd Round. 2 loop sts in each st, (Loop st: wind yarn over index finger, insert hook in next st, draw yarn through pulling yarn from under index finger, letting loop fall to right side of work and complete s c).
3rd Round. 1 loop st in each loop st, increasing a sufficient number of times to keep work flat. Work 17 more rounds same as 3rd round. Break yarn.
21st Round. Attach Cream and working on right side, work 1 s c in each st increasing a sufficient number of times to keep work flat. Work 11 more rounds same as last round, break yarn.
With Green, work 11 rounds same as 3rd round.
With Cream, work 12 rounds same as 21st round.
With Green, work 11 rounds same as 3rd round.
Next Round. Work 1 s c in each s c, break yarn.
