Crochet Patterns

Sculptured Block Rug

Each square measures about 10½ inches. 24 squares 4 x 6 are required for rug measuring about 46 x 74 inches.
For a smaller rug use "STAR" Cotton Yarn, Article 75.
50-100 yd. Skeins if worked all in one color. (More)


White Numdah Rug

With White Rug Yarn and No. 6 Needle, ch 67, 2 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, working 2 s c in last st, ch 1 to turn each row.
2nd Row. Working in s c, increase 1 s c at the beginning and end of row. Work next 15 rows same as last row. Work even in s c until work measures 33½ inches from begin­ning. (More)


Sectional Tufted Rug

With Cream, ch 100, work 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, * ch 1, turn and work 1 s c in each s c, repeat from * until work measures about 30 inches (148 rows) then work a row of s c all around, having 3 s c in each corner, 148 s c on each long side, 98 s c on each short side, break yarn. Work 2 more sections in same manner. Sew the 3 sections together on long side making 1 long rug. (More)


Loop Stitch Border Rug

1st Row. Place the carrying yarn at the beginning of row working over it, work 1 s c in 2nd st from hook. 1 d c in next st, * 1 s c in next st, 1 d c in next st, repeat from * 23 times. (Each row is started with an s c and ended with a d c.)
2nd Row. Ch 1, turn, 1 s c in 1st d c, 1 d c in next s c, * 1 s c in next d c, 1 d c in next s c, repeat from * 23 times. Repeat 2nd row 66 times or until work measures about 25½ inches. Do not break yarn. (More)


Lazy Daisy Loops Oval Rug

Small Circle. Work same as Round motif loop stitch Rug No. 5106.
Work 12 small circles.
Oval. Ch 54, (ch should measure about 13½ inches) 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 51 sts of ch, 3 s c in end ch, working on other side of ch, work 1 s c in each st, 2 s c in same st as 1st s c. (More)


Lazy Daisy Loops Circular Rug

Small Circle. Ch 4, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 6 s c in ring. Without joining rounds work 7 more rounds of s c increasing a sufficient number of times to keep work flat, having 40 sts in last s c round, sl st in next st, ch 1, turn and with wrong side of work toward you, work 1 loop st in each s c, increasing to keep work flat. Marine Rug & Toilet Seat Cover

Rug. With Dk Green ch 71, 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 9 sts of ch, attach Lt Green and work 1 s c in each of the next 33 sts of ch carrying the Dk Green in back of work working over the Dk Green, with Dk Green work 1 s c in each of the next 27 sts of ch carrying the Lt Green in back of work and working over the Lt Green, ch 1, turn. When changing Color, always complete the last half of st with next Color. (More)


Kitten Rug

Ch 69 and work 68 s c on ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row. 1 loop st in each st, (Loop st: wind yarn over index finger, insert hook in st, draw yarn through, pulling yarn from under finger, drop loop from finger letting fall to right side of work and complete s c), ch 1, turn.
3rd Row. Work 1 s c in each loop st, ch 1, turn. (More)


Tapestry Rug

With Rust: Ch 52 and work in Afghan st as follows, pick up 2nd st from hook and each remaining st of ch, leaving all loops on needle, work back by drawing yarn through 1st loop, * yarn over needle and draw through 2 loops, repeat from * to end of row (51 sts).
2nd Row. Same as 1st row picking up the vertical yarn instead of ch and work back the same way. Repeat 2nd row 49 times. (More)


Americana Rug

With Cream, ch 44, 2 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 41 sts of ch, 3 s c in end ch, working on op­posite side of ch, work 1 s c in each st working 1 s c in same space with 1st 2 s c, continue to work rounds without joining.
2nd Round. 2 s c in each of the 5 sts at each end and 1 s c in each s c on sides of work. (More)


Ring Around 'o Loops Rug

With Green, ch 5, join to form a ring and work 8 s c in ring, do not join or turn rounds.
2nd Round. 2 loop sts in each st, (Loop st: wind yarn over index finger, insert hook in next st, draw yarn through pulling yarn from under index finger, letting loop fall to right side of work and complete s c). (More)


Two Tone Modern Rug

With Cream, ch 31, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 20 sts of ch. Drop Cream (always drop yarn to wrong side of work), attach Beige, work 1 s c in each of the next 9 sts of ch. (When changing Color always work the last half of st with next color), ch 1, turn.
2nd Row. With wrong side of work towards you, with Beige work 1 double loop st in each of the next 9 s c. (More)


Colonial Squares Rug

With Beige, ch 11, 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row. 1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn.
Repeat the 2nd row 8 times, break yarn.
Attach Rust and work 1 s c in each of the next 9 s c, 3 s c in corner, then work 9 s c down next side, ch 1, turn. (More)

With Black ch 136, 1 d c in 6th st from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 st of ch, d c in next st, repeat from * across row, ch 4, turn. (75 meshes.)
2nd Row. D c in next d c, * ch 1, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row, ch 4, turn.
3rd & 4th Rows. Same as 2nd row, break Black. (When changing color always complete the last half of st with next color.)
5th Row. Attach Beige and work same as 2nd row, break Beige. (More)
