1 ball Flamingo or color desired and
1 spool “STAR” Mercerized Sewing Thread, Article 400 to match.
42 small pearl beads.
63 medium pearl beads.
21 large pearl beads.
Adjustable pearl clasp from necklace.
Steel crochet hook No. 00.

Collar is worked with a double strand of thread throughout.

Ch 84, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 4, turn.

2nd Row- * Skip 1 s c, d c in next s c, repeat from, * across row, ch 4, turn.

3rd Row-D c in next d c, * ch 1, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row ending with ch 1, skip 1 st of ch at end of row, d c in next st, turn.

4th Row-Ch 5, d c in next d c, * ch 2, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row ending with ch 2, skip 1 st of end ch, d c in next st, turn.

5th Row-Same as last row but ending with ch 2, skip 2 sts of end ch, d c in next st, turn.

6th Row-Ch 6, d c in next d c, * ch 3, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row ending with ch 3, skip 2 sts of end ch, d c in next st, turn.

7th Row-Same as last row but ending with ch 3, skip 3 sts of end ch, d c in next st, cut thread.

EDGE-With right side of work toward you, attach thread in base of 1st st at left hand corner at top of collar, working down side of collar, * ch 3, sl st in base of next row, repeat from * 5 times, ch 3, sl st in 3rd st of corner loop, * ch 3, sl st in next d c, repeat from * to last d c at next corner, working up side, ch 3, sl st in base of same d c, * ch 3, sl st in base of next row, repeat from * 5 times, working across neck edge, work 1 sl st in each st.

Next Row-Working around the next 3 sides, * ch 3, sl st in next sl st, repeat from * to opposite side of neck edge, cut thread. Starting at neck edge of collar with “STAR” Mercerized Sewing Thread, sew a small pearl in 1st mesh, * skip 1 mesh, sew small pearl in next mesh, repeat from * across row. Working in same manner, sew 1 more row of small pearls, 3 rows of medium pearls and 1 row of large pearls.

Sew clasp in position as illustrated.
