Materials:
Clark's O.N.T. Knitting and Crochet Cotton or J. & P. Coats Crochet Cord in White, Ecru or Boilfast color.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 3 or 4.

One block measures about 8 inches and requires about 110 yards of thread. Note the number of yds. indicated on the ball of thread and determine the amount of material necessary. Finished spread 10 x 13 blocks measures about 81 x 108 inches.

To begin, ch 7 and join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3, 15 d c in ring, join with sl st to 3rd st of ch-3 first made. 2nd rnd: Ch 7, * skip 1 d c, 1 d c in next, ch 4, and repeat from * around. JOINING BLOCKS. Whip edges of blocks together with same thread.

EDGING. Fasten thread to a sp, ch 3, 2 d c in that sp, ch 3, 3 d c in same sp, * 3 d c in next sp, ch 3, 3 d c in same sp, and repeat from * around.
