MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Art. 600 Lily Cotton Yarn Skeins or
Art. 930 Sugar 'N Cream Yarn Balls
1 skein Yellow and ½-skein Orange and
Art. 21 Lily Six Strand Floss
A scrap in Dk. Brown.
Crochet Hook No. 0.

FRONT—Petal—With Yellow ch 13, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, (2 dc in next ch, dc in next ch) 4 times, hdc in next ch, 3 sc in end ch, on other side of ch make hdc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) 4 times, hdc in next st, sc in next st. ROW 2—Ch 1, turn, sk sc, sc in next 3 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, dc in next 9 sts, 2 dc in next st, (2 dc, ch 3, sl st in last dc for a p, and 2 dc) in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, dc in next 9 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 3 sts, sc in center of end. join to 1st sc. Fasten off. Make 5.

Cup—With Orange ch 2, 3 sc in 2d ch from hook. ROW 2—Ch 1, turn, sc in 2 sc, 2 sc in end sc. ROW 3—Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across with 2 sc in end sc. Repeat once. ROW 5—Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc. Repeat once. Repeat Row 3 once and Row 5 three times. ROW 11—Ch 3, turn, dc in 1st sc, hdc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, hdc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, drop Orange, join Yellow thru lp on hook. ROW 12—Ch 1, turn and working in back lps only, sc in 1st dc, hdc in next st, dc in next 5 sts, hdc in next st, sc in next st, cut Yellow 2" long, join Orange and working over Yellow end, make sc around base up to other end of last row, 2 sc in 1st Yellow sc, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) 4 times, then in front lps of Row 11, make (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) 5 times. Join to 1st sc. NEXT ROW—(Ch 1, dc in next sc, ch 1, sc in next sc) 14 times. Fasten off. With Brown Floss make long sts across Yellow Row 12 with a French Knot at outer end of each st for stamens.

Lap petals and tack tog. Sew Cup in center over base of Petals as illustrated.

BACK—Repeat Front. Sew Front and Back tog. Cover a bone ring with sc in Yellow. Sew to one point. Steam and press dry on back thru a cloth.
