Bear Brand Feather-Glow or Fleisher's Melody-Glow, 6 balls.
Bucilla Plastic Crochet Hook, Size 10.
About 100 Sequins

GAUGE: 4 patterns = 5 inches

Ch 350 sts. Row 1—1 sc in 2nd st from hook, * skip 2 sts, 1 shell of 5 dc in next st, skip 2 sts, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * to end; 58 pats.
Row 2—Ch 1, turn, skip first sc, slip st over first 2 dc of shell, 1 sc in center dc of shell, * skip 2 dc, 1 shell in next sc, 1 sc in center dc of next shell; repeat from * to end; 57 pats.—½ pat. decreased each side. Repeat last row, having 1 pat. less in every row, until 2 pats, remain.
Last row—Ch 1, turn, slip st over first 2 dc of first shell, 1 sc in center dc of shell, skip 2 dc, 1 shell of 7 dc instead of 5 dc in next sc, skip 2 dc, 1 sc in center dc of shell; do not turn.

BORDER—Continuing on side edge, * 1 shell of 7 dc in end st of next row, 1 sc in end st of next row; repeat from * to corner, work 9 dc in corner sc; † 1 sc in same st as next shell on foundation ch, 1 shell of 7 dc in next sc on foundation ch; repeat from † across foundation ch, end 9 dc in corner sc, work other side same as first side, end 1 slip st in first slip st of last row. Fasten off.
Pin out to measurements on chart. Block. Trim with sequins as illustrated.
