Single Size Spread – 70 x 110 inches – 25 balls of No. 1 White, 45 balls of No. 76-A Aqua and 35 balls of No. 12-A Blue Sparkle.

Double Size Spread – 90 x 110 inches – 30 balls of No. 1 White, 53 balls of No. 76-A Aqua and 45 balls of No. 12-A Blue Sparkle.

Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

GAUGE: Each motif measures 5 inches square and requires 8 yards of White, 11 yards of Blue Sparkle and 13 yards of Aqua.

Starting at center with Blue Sparkle, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3, 19 dc in ring. Join to top of ch-3. 2nd rnd: Drop Blue Sparkle, attach Aqua to same place as sl st, sc in same place, hereafter pick up back loop only, sc in next 3 dc, * in next dc make dc, ch 3 and dc, sc in next 4 dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 3rd rnd: Drop Aqua, attach White to same place as sl st, sc in same place, sc in next 4 sc and in next dc, * working over the ch 3 into back loop of dc on first rnd make dc, ch 3 and dc between dc's, sc in next dc, next 6 sc and next dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 4th rnd: Drop White, pick up Blue Sparkle, sc in same place, * sc in each sc across, sc in next dc, working over ch-3 and into ch-3 on 2nd rnd make dc, ch 3 and dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 5th rnd: Drop Blue Sparkle, pick up Aqua, sc in same place, (ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc) twice; * ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next dc; working over next ch-3 and into ch-3 on 3rd rnd make dc, ch 3 and dc, skip next dc, sc in next sc, (ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc) 3 times. For Single Size Spread, make 14 rows of 22 motifs. For Double Size Spread, make 18 rows of 22 motifs. Sew motifs neatly together. Block to measurements.
