Single Size Spread – 72 x 108 inches – 45 balls of No. 1 White and 80 balls of No. 123-A Flamingo.

Double Size Spread – 92 x 108 inches – 60 balls of No. 1 White and 105 balls of No. 123-A Flamingo.

Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

GAUGE: Each motif measures 4 inches square and requires 9 yards of White and 16 yards of Flamingo.

Starting at center with White, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 4, 27 tr in ring. Join to top of ch-4. 2nd rnd: Drop White, attach Flamingo to same place as sl st, 2 sc in same place, * sc in back loop of next 6 tr, 2 sc in next tr. Repeat from * around (32 sc). Join. 3rd rnd: Drop Flamingo, pick up White, sc in same place, * ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around (16 loops). Join. 4th rnd: Drop White, pick up Flamingo, sl st in next loop, ch 6, dc in same loop, * (ch 3, sc in next loop) 3 times; ch 3, in next loop make dc, ch 3 and dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 5th rnd: Drop Flamingo, pick up White, sl st in next sp, in same sp make sc, ch 3 and sc; * (ch 3, sc in next loop) 4 times; ch 3, in next sp make sc, ch 3 and sc. Repeat from * around. Join. 6th rnd: Sl st in next loop, in same loop make sc, ch 3 and sc; 2 sc in next loop, make a d tr around bar of first tr on first rnd, * 3 sc in next loop on rnd in work, skip next tr on first rnd, d tr around bar of next 3 tr, skip next loop on rnd in work, 3 sc in next loop, skip next tr on first rnd, d tr around bar of next tr, 2 sc in next sp on rnd in work, in next loop make sc, ch 3 and sc; 2 sc in next loop, d tr around bar of next tr on first rnd. Repeat from * around. Join. 7th rnd: Drop White, pick up Flamingo, sl st in next loop, in same loop make sc, ch 3 and sc; sc in each st around, making sc, ch 3 and sc in each corner loop. Join and break off.

For Single Size Spread, make 18 rows of 27 motifs. For Double Size Spread, make 23 rows of 27 motifs Sew motifs neatly together. Block to measurements.
