REQUIREMENTS:

YARN: 20-ounces of Knitting Worsted
CROCHET HOOK: #6 Bone
RIBBON: 10-yds. ½-inch wide

CARRIAGE ROBE: Using the #6 hook, make a chain of 189 sts; 1 d c in 3rd chain from hook, 1 d c in next 8 sts, * 3 d c in next st, 1 d c in next 9 sts, skip 2 sts, 1 d c in next 9 sts; repeat from * across row, ending with 3 d c in 1 st, 1 d c in last 9 sts, ch 3, turn. ROW 2: (Note: Work in back loops throughout, only when making the 3 d c use both loops). Skip 2 sts, 1 d c in next 8 sts; * 3 d c in next st, 1 d c in next 9 sts, skip 2 sts, 1 d c in next 9 sts; repeat from * across row, ending with 3 d c in st, 1 d c in next 8 sts, skip 1 st, 1 d c in last st, ch 3 turn. Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures 30 to 32 inches. Break yarn. Trimming: Cut ribbon into 8 lengths. Weave in and out of the spaces made by skipping 2 sts.
