Mercerized Cotton Size 20
1 steel hook #10
1 bone ring ¾-inch.
1st round: Make 40 s c over ring, join with a slip st, ch 1.
2nd round: 1 s c in each stitch around (40 s c), join with a slip st.
3rd round: Ch 3, holding back on hook the last loop of each d c, make 2 d c into same space as chain, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made); * ch 2, skip 1 s c, holding back on hook the last loop of each d c, make 3 d c in next st, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made). Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, join with a slip st to tip of first cluster made.
4th round: * 2 s c over ch-2 space, 1 s c in tip of cluster; repeat from * around, join with a slip st.
5th round: * Ch 3, skip 1 s c, 1 s c in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a slip st. Continuing make a chain 14-inches long, slip st in base of chain. Fasten off.
