Grape Buffet Cloth and Napkin Pattern #86

For Luncheon Cloth to match see Grape Luncheon Cloth #45.

Materials—J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 50.

For the corners of Buffet Cloth, ch 153 and work 2 rows of 49 sp each. For the Napkin, ch 123, work 2 rows of 39 sp each. Then follow design (Plate 54 Buffet Cloth, Plate 55 Napkin), buttonhole to linen and finish with any desired edge.

There is a great demand for corners, and the worker will find these useful for many more purposes than used here.
The corners on Plates Nos. 54 and 55 will make most attractive medallions in corners for luncheon cloths, square centerpieces, tray covers, and other dining room needs, while Plate No. 56 would be very useful in card table covers, dresser scarfs, table runners, and even handkerchiefs, if done with a very fine thread.

Beautiful corners for the buffet scarf and napkin, to match table cloth, Plate 45. On both these corners, the border of three or five meshes is to be continued around the material. J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 50 to 70, develops beautifully for this purpose.

Two more attractive corners for napkins, Plates 56 and 57.
