1 ball each Silver Spangle and Pink Spangle or colors of your choice
Steel crochet hook No. 7
Approximate size of doily: 9 inches in diameter

With Shaded Pinks or Pink Spangle chain (ch) 12, join to form a ring, single crochet (s c) in ring, * ch 4, 2 treble crochet (tr c) in ring keeping last loop of each stitch (st) on hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time, ch 4, s c in ring (petal), repeat from * 7 times, ending last repeat with slip stitch (sl st), cut thread.

2nd Round. Attach White or Silver Spangle in any s c, ch 7, s c in top of next petal, ch 3, * tr c in next s c, ch 3, s c in top of next petal, ch 3, repeat from * 6 times, join in 4th st of ch.

3rd Round. Sl st into next loop, * ch 5, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around, ch 5, join in sl st, cut thread.

4th Round. Attach Shaded Pinks or Pink Spangle in next loop, ch 4, 2 tr c in same loop keeping last loop of each st on hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time, ch 4, sl st in same loop, cut thread (petal). * Skip 1 loop, work a petal in next loop, cut thread. Repeat from * all around (8 petals).

5th Round. Attach White or Silver Spangle in top of any petal, * ch 7, s c in next loop, ch 7, s c in top of next petal, repeat from * 6 times, ch 7, s c in next loop, ch 3, tr c in top of next petal already worked in (this brings thread in position for next round).

6th Round.* Ch 8, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around ending with ch 3, double treble crochet ([d tr c] 3 times over hook) in tr c.

7th Round. Ch 8, s c over d tr c, ch 4, tr c over d tr c, * ch 2, tr c in next loop, ch 4, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, repeat from * 14 times, short double crochet (s d c) in center of ch 8 loop (s d c: thread over hook, insert in st, pull loop through, thread over and work off all loops at one time).

8th Round. Sl st over s d c, ch 8, s c over s d c, ch 4, tr c over s d c, * ch 5, skip the next 2-ch 4 loops, tr c in next ch 2 loop, ch 4, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, repeat from * 14 times, ch 4, sl st in ch 8 loop.

9th Round. * Ch 9, skip the next 2-ch 4 loops, 2 s c, ch 3, 2 s c in next ch 5 loop, repeat from * 15 times, sl st in last loop worked in.

10th Round. Sl st to 2nd st of next loop, ch 1, 3 s c, ch 3, 3 s c in same loop, * ch 4, sl st in next ch 3 loop, ch 3, sl st in same loop, ch 4, 3 s c, ch 3, 3 s c in next loop, repeat from * 14 times, ch 4, sl st in next loop, ch 3, sl st in same loop, ch 4, join in 1st s c.

11th Round. Sl st to next ch 3 loop, ch 8, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, ch 7, * skip the next ch 4, ch 3, and ch 4 loops and next 3 s c, tr c in next ch 3 loop, ch 4, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, ch 7, repeat from * all around, join in ch 8 loop, drop thread.

12th Round. Attach Shaded Pinks or Pink Spangle in next ch 7 loop, * ch 4, 2 tr c in same loop keeping last loop of each st on hook, thread over and work off all loops at one time, ch 4, s c in same loop, repeat from * twice ending last repeat with a sl st, cut thread. * Skip next ch 7 loop, work 3 more petals in next ch 7 loop in same manner, cut thread, repeat from * 6 times.

13th Round. Pick up White or Silver Spangle, * ch 7, s c in top of next petal, ch 5, s c in top of next petal, ch 5, s c in top of next petal, ch 7, skip next ch 4 loop, s c in next ch 4 loop, ch 7, skip the next ch 7 loop, s c in next ch 4 loop, repeat from * all around ending last repeat with a sl st.

14th Round. Sl st to 2nd st of next loop, * ch 4, tr c in next loop, ch 4, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, ch 4, sl st in 4th st from hook for picot, tr c in next loop, ch 4, s c in same loop, ch 4, tr c in same loop, ch 4, s c in next loop, ch 7, s c over the 2-ch 7 loops of previous rounds, ch 3, sl st in top of s c for picot, ch 7, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join, cut thread.
