MATERIALS - Sultana Beauty-Glo, Main Color" A", 2 balls.
Contrasting Color "B", 2 balls.
Steel Crochet Hook, Size 6.
Use round bag form (about 6 ins. in diameter) having approximately 32 eyelets.

GAUGE: 9 sts=1 inch

With A, from right side, dividing sts evenly in eyelets around bag, work 195 dc. Join with slip st.

Note-If a larger or smaller bag form is used, work a multiple of 4 sts more or less.

Row 1-right side-Ch 3, skip first dc, 1 dc in each st to end; 195 sts. Turning ch always counts as 1 dc.

Row 2-Ch 3, turn, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each st and in top of turning ch, working off last 2 loops of last dc with B; 195 sts.

Row 3-With B, ch 3, turn, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, * 1 tr around stem of next dc in 2nd row below, skip dc in back of tr, 1 dc in each of next 3 sts *; repeat between *'s to end.

Row 4-With B, same as row 2, working off last 2 loops with A.

Row 5-With A, ch 3, turn, skip 1 st, repeat between *'s of row 3, end last repeat with 1 dc.

Repeat last 4 rows, until about 7 ins. from beg., end with pat. row 5. Fasten off B. With A, work 7 rows of dc. Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st. Fasten off.

CORDS-Make same as for bag No. 157.

FINISHING-Sew seam. Draw cords in opposite directions through first and 2nd dc rows above pat. having one cord over and under sts and 2nd cord alternating under and over sts. Join ends of cords.
