GAUGE: 9 sps make 2 inches; 9 rows make 2 inches. Completed block measures about 15 inches square. For a tablecloth 75 x 90 inches, make 5 x 6 blocks.

BLOCK … Starting at bottom of chart, make a chain about 20 inches long (18 ch sts to 1 inch). 1st row: Tr in 6th ch from hook, (ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr in next ch) 5 times; ch 3, skip 3 ch, tr in next ch (sp made), then (ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr in next ch) 8 times; * make 1 sp, (ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr in next ch) 6 times. Repeat from * 12 more times; then work 1 sp, (ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr in next ch) 8 times; 1 sp, (ch 1, skip 1 ch, tr in next ch) 6 times.    Make 5 x 6 blocks and sew together on wrong side with neat over-and-over stitches.
