Starting at "X", make a chain tightly, to measure about 15 inches long; turn. 1st row: D c in 4th ch from hook, d c in each ch across until 301 d c are made, counting turning ch-3 as 1 d c (100 bls). Cut off remaining chain. Ch 3, turn. 2nd and 3rd rows: D c in each d c across. Ch 3, turn. 4th row: D c in each of first 9 d c; ch 2, skip 2 d c, d c in next d c (1 sp made); make 51 more sps, d c in each of next 9 d c (3 bls made); 10 sps, 1 bl, 17 sps, 1 bl, 10 sps, 3 bls. Ch 3, turn. Hereafter follow chart from "A" to top row to complete doily. Fasten and break off.
