To begin, ch 6 and join into ring. 1st rnd: Ch 10, * 1 d tr (thread over 3 times) in ring, ch 5, and re­peat from * 6 more times, then sl st to 5th st of ch-10 first made. 2nd rnd: 1 s c in each st, join. 3rd rnd: Ch 3 (to count as 1 d c), * ch 9, turn, skip 1 st of ch-9, 1 s c in each of next 2 sts, 1 d c in each of next 2 sts, 1 tr in each of next 2 sts, 1 d tr in each of next 2 sts, skip 5 s c, 1 d c in next s c. Repeat from * 7 more times (8 pyra­mids in all). Omit d c after last pyra­mid and join in 3rd st of ch-3. Break off. 4th rnd: Attach thread to tip of pyramid, ch 2 (to count as 1 s c), * ch 6, 1 tr in center st of side of pyra­mid keeping last 2 loops on hook, 1 tr in st in same position on opposite pyramid, keeping last 2 loops on hook, then thread over and draw through all 4 loops on hook.
