With Yellow ch 6, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 8 s c in ring, join.
2nd Round—* Ch 4, s c in next s c, repeat from * 7 times.
3rd Round—Sl st into loop, * ch 4, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around.
4th Round—Ch 1, work 5 s c over each loop and 1 s c in each s c, join, cut thread.
5th Round—Attach White in same space, ch 6, * skip 2 s c, d c in next s c, ch 11, s c in 2nd ch from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 9 sts of ch, sl st in top of last d c (petal center), ch 3, skip 2 s c on circle, d c in next s c, ch 3, repeat from * all around in same manner, ch 3, join in 3rd st of ch.
6th Round—Working up side of petal center, work 1 tr c in each of the next 10 sts of petal center, ch 3, sl st in same space, sl st in top of petal center, then working down opposite side of petal center, ch 3 and picking up back loop of sts only, work 1 tr c in each of the next 10 s c, s c in next d c of previous round, repeat from beginning 7 times, cut White.
Next Round—Attach Yellow in 4th tr c from top of petal on left hand side, ch 3, tr c in 4th tr c from top on right hand side of next petal, ch 9, s c in center st at top of same petal, * ch 9, thread over hook twice, insert in 4th tr c from top on left hand side of same petal, pull through and work off 2 loops twice, thread over hook twice, insert in 4th tr c from top on right hand side of next petal, pull through and work off 2 loops twice, thread over and pull through all loops at one time, ch 9, s c in center st at top of same petal, repeat from * all around, ch 9, join in 1st tr c.
Next Round—3 s c over next loop, ch 3, sl st in last s c for picot, 3 s c, picot, 5 s c over same loop, s c in next s c, picot, 3 s c over next loop, ch 9, turn, skip 1 picot and 2 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 1, turn and work 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over loop just made (outside loop), sl st in last s c of previous loop, 2 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over remainder of loop, s c in next st, repeat from beginning all around, join, cut Yellow.
Work a 2nd flower joining it to 1st flower in last round as follows: 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 5 s c over next loop, s c in next s c, picot, 3 s c over next loop, ch 9, turn, skip 1 picot and 2 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 1, turn and work 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over loop just made, ch 1, join to corresponding picot of 1st flower, ch 1, sl st in same s c of 2nd flower to complete picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over same loop of 2nd flower, sl st in last s c of previous loop, 2 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over remainder of loop, s c in next st, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 5 s c over next loop, s c in next s c, picot, 3 s c over next loop, ch 9, turn, skip 1 picot and 2 s c, sl st in next s c, ch 1, turn and work 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over loop just made, ch 1, skip 6 picots of 1st flower, join to next picot, ch 1, sl st in same s c to complete picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over same loop of 2nd flower, sl st in last s c of previous loop and finish flower same as 1st flower. Join all flowers in same manner leaving 2 outside loops free at top and lower edge between joinings. Work 10 more flowers in same manner.

JOINING RING—With Yellow ch 12, join to form a ring, thread over hook 5 times, insert hook in center s c between 5th and 6th picot to right of joining, pull through and work off all loops 2 at a time, s c in ring, * thread over hook 5 times, skip 2 picots, insert in next space, pull through and work off all loops 2 at a time, s c in ring, repeat from * once, thread over hook 5 times, skip 1 picot of same flower and 1st free picot of next flower, insert in next space, pull through and work off all loops 2 at a time, * s c in ring, thread over hook 5 times, skip 2 picots, insert in next space, pull through and work off all loops 2 at a time, repeat from * once, then work 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c, picot, 3 s c over remainder of ring, join, cut thread. Work a joining ring between each 2 flowers around inside edge. Sew in position to lower edge of pillow case as illustrated.
Work another pillow case in same manner.
