PLACE MAT … Starting at center with Platinum, ch 4. 1st rnd: 19 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with sl st to top of ch-4. 2nd rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 3, skip next dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join to first sc. 3rd rnd: * Sc in next loop, 7 dc in next loop (shell made). Repeat from * around. Join. Break off. 4th rnd: Attach Yellow to 2nd dc of any shell, sc in same place, * sc in next 4 dc, skip next dc, 5 dc in next sc, skip first dc on next shell, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join and break off. 5th rnd: Attach Platinum to same place as sl st, sc in same place, (ch 3, sc in next st) twice; * ch 3, skip next st, sc in next st. Repeat from * around. GLASS JACKET—Bottom … Using Platinum, work as for Tartan Place Mat & Glass Jacket Pattern. Do not break off at end of last rnd.

Side Piece … 1st rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in back loop of next sc. Repeat from * around, having an even number of loops. 2nd to 18th rnds incl: Work as for 9th to 25th rnds incl of Place Mat. Break off at end of 18th rnd. Attach Platinum to free loop on last rnd of bottom and sc in each free loop around. Join and break off.
