Ch 14. Row 1—Work 1 s c in each of first 12 sts, 3 s c in last st, 1 s c in each st on opposite side of ch (12 sts), ch 1, turn. Row 2—Taking back loop only, work 1 s c in each of first 12 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in next st, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of last 12 sts, ch 1, turn. Row 3—Work 1 s c in each of first 13 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 3 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of last 13 sts. Row 4—Slip st over the first 3 sts, * ch 11, skip 1 st, work 1 s c in next st; repeat from * 4 times, skip 1 st, work 3 s c in next st (center st of increase of previous row), 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, 3 s c in next st, skip 1 st, 1 s c in next st, * ch 11, skip 1 st, work 1 s c in next st; repeat from * 4 times, ch 1, turn. Row 5—Skip 1 st, * work 1 s c in each of first 5 sts of ch 11 (taking back loop), 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, skip the s c of previous row; repeat from * 4 times, skip 2 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 7 sts, 3 s c in next st, skip 2 sts, * 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, skip the s c of previous row; repeat from * 4 times, ch 1, turn. Row 6—Skip the first st, * work 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 5 sts, skip 2 sts; repeat from * 4 times, skip 2 sts, 3 s c in next st, 1 s c in each of next 9 sts, 3 s c in next st, skip 2 sts, work to end of row to correspond to other side. Repeat Row 6 increasing 2 sts in the base on every row, until piece measures 12 in. across (about 29 rows). Fasten off. Starting at increased end at lower edge of bag, work 8 addi­tional rows of s c, increasing 1 st at each end on every row. Fasten off. Work other side to correspond. Sl st both sides tog.
