Two-color edging—suggest White and Blue.
With White make a chain slightly longer than the length desired, turn. 1st row: S c in 8th ch from hook, * ch 5, skip 2 ch, s c in next ch. Repeat from * across, turn. 2nd row: Sl st to center of 1st loop, * ch 5, s c in next loop. Repeat from * across, turn. 3rd row: Sl st to center of 1st loop, * 3 d c, ch 2, 4 d c in next loop. S c in next loop. Repeat from * across. Break off. Hereafter pick up only the back loop of each st. 4th row: Attach Blue at beginning of last row and work * s c in each d c, s c in 1st ch, ch 2, s c in next ch, s c in each d c, s c in s c. Repeat from * across. Break off.
