REQUIREMENTS:
Mercerized Cotton Size 10
1 steel hook #9
1 bone ring ½-inch.

1st round: Make 20 s c into ring; join with a slip st.

2nd round: Ch 3 (this counts as 1 d c), 1 d c in each of the next 2 sts, * ch 7, skip 1 s c, 1 d c in each of the next 3 sts; repeat from * 3 times more, ch 7, join with a slip st to first d c.

3rd round: Slip st to loop, ch 3 (this counts as 1 d c), work 1 5 d c in loop, s c in center d c of 3-d c group, * 16 d c in next loop, s c in center d c of next 3-d c group, repeat from * once more (3 petals), ch 4, 12 d tr c (3 times around needle) with ch 1 between each d tr c in next loop, ch 1, 2 tr c, with ch 1 between in same loop, ch 1, 2 d c with ch 1 between in same loop, s c in center d c of next 3-d c group; 2 d c with ch 1 between in next loop, ch 1, 2 tr c with ch 1 between in same loop, ch 1, 12 d tr c with ch 1 between each d tr c in same loop, ch 4, s c in center d c of next 3-d c group, join to base of 1st petal, break thread.

CORD: Attach thread in back of s c (the one between the 2 large petals), make a chain 14-inches long, slip st in base of chain. Fasten off.
