Each motif measures 1¾ inches square and requires 6 yards of Size 30 thread and 1 yard of "Knit-Cro-Sheen."

MOTIF … Starting at center, ch 5. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Working over 4 strands of "Knit-Cro-Sheen," make 8 sc in ring. Do not join. Now continue to work over 4 strands and pick up back loop of each sc. 2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 3rd rnd: * 2 sc in next sc (1 sc increased), sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. 4th rnd: Sc in each sc, increas­ing 8 sc evenly around, sl st in next sc. Cut off 4 strands. 5th rnd: Picking up both loops, sc in same place as sl st, * ch 5, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join (16 loops). 6th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, sc in same loop, * (ch 5, sc in next loop) twice; ch 3, in next loop make 2 dc, ch 5 and 2 dc; ch 3, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join. 7th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, sc in same loop, * ch 7, sc in next loop, ch 5, skip next sp, in next loop make 2 dc, ch 7 and 2 dc; ch 5, skip next sp, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.
