Dainty edgings can be Crocheted or Tatted in White, Solid, Shaded or Iridescent colors using American Thread Company "Silkine" Tatting Cotton or "Silkine" or "Star" Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton sizes 60 to 100.

R. 4 d, p, 7 d, p, 7 d, p, 4 d, close r. * R 4 d, join to last p of last r, 7 d, p, 4 d, Close r. Repeat from *, break thread. Continue groups of rings for desired length, joining them at picots as illustrated.
2nd Row. Join thread at center p of first r, ch 4 d, 6 p separated by 2 d, join to center p of next ring, 6 p separated by 2 d, 4 d, join to picot between rings and continue to end of row. Work one row of open meshes across straight side of edging.
