Materials Required. American Thread Company "De Luxe" Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or "Star" Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton size 10.
About 30 yds. each of Yellow and Rust or any 2 colors desired.
One ¾-inch Button Mold.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 8.

With Yellow ch 3, 6 s c in first st of ch.

2nd Row—2 s c in each s c. Next 3 rows—Work 1 s c in each s c, working 1 row in Rust, 1 row Yellow and 1 row Rust, break thread.

FRINGE. Cut 6-inch lengths of Yellow and Rust. Take one strand of each, double and knot them through both loops of s c, repeat all around. Slip work over button mold and tack in position.

CORD. Take 2 strands of Rust, attach to center of tassel, work an s c over joining, * ch 2, s c in first st, repeat from * for length desired.
