DAISY: With Yellow ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 3 and work 17 d c in ring, join, break thread.
PETAL: With White ch 14, insert hook in any d c, pull loop through, ch 1, 1 s c in next st of ch, 1 s d c in each of the next 3 sts (s d c: thread over hook, insert in st, pull loop through, thread over and work off all loops at one time), 1 d c in each of the next 9 sts, 6 s d c in end st, working on opposite side of ch, 1 d c in each of the next 9 sts, 1 s d c in each of the next 3 sts, 1 s c in next st, sl st in same d c, break thread. Skip 1 d c, work another petal in next d c. Continue working in same manner all around. Work a 2nd daisy same as 1st daisy, joining it to 1st daisy as illustrated.
FORGET-ME-NOT: With Yellow ch 2, 8 s c in 2nd st from hook, join, break thread. Attach Color, * ch 4, 3 tr c in same space, ch 4, sl st in same space, skip 1 s c, sl st in next s c, repeat from * 3 times, break thread. Work all remaining forget-me-nots in same manner, always joining in center tr c of petals.
PANSY: All pansies are worked in same manner, ch 7, join to form a ring, ch 3 (counts as 1 d c), 2 d c in ring, * ch 7, 3 d c in ring, repeat from * 3 times, ch 7, join.
