Wind Scarlet around 2 prongs of staple and tie tightly in center over the 2 strands thus forming a loop on each prong. With Sport Yarn using No. 6 crochet hook hold the fork in left hand, loop yarn around fork and securely tie knot in center. (Keep working end of yarn always at rear of work.)
