Fluffy Dog

BODY OF DOG. Cut a card board 3x6 inches—Place over this Kapok padding about 3 inches thick and cover with White material placing the sewing on top where it will be covered with wool.

HEAD AND NECK. Cut a piece of material 6x6 inches fold in half and sew one side and across top rounding it at top edge. Fill very full with Kapok and sew to lower part of body starting about 2 inches from one narrow end. (More)

Then decrease every row at each end of each needle until 4 sts remain on each needle. (To decrease, K 1, Sl 1, K 1, pass the slipped st over the K st, K to within the last 3 sts on needle, K 2 together, K 1) break yarn leaving an end, thread into a large needle, draw through all sts and fasten firmly. With Baby Blue cast on 78 sts and K 8 rows. Change to White and * K 1 row, P 1 row, K 1 row, P 1 row, K 1 row, P 1 row. Pick up Baby Blue and K 2 rows. Pick up White and repeat pattern from * for entire back. Work even until back measures 7 inches from beginning.

Next 2 Rows—Bind off 4 sts at the beginning of each row then decrease 1 st each side of every other row twice. (66 sts). Work even until armhole measures 3½ inches.
