Easy Crochet Vest

Row 1 — 1 S.C. in 8th chain from hook, * ch 5, 1 S.C. in 4th ch, * repeat from * to end. (25, 29, 33 large holes & ½ hole)

Row 2 — Ch 5, turn, 1 S.C. in hole, * Ch 5, 1 S.C. in hole, repeat from * to end.

Piece will measure about 35, 40, 45 inches wide.

Cardigan

BACK:

Cast on 70 sts. knit for 6 rows, then knit 1 row, purl 1 row to underarm — 13 ½ inches. Bind off 6 sts. each side, then work until armhole measures 7 ½ inches. Bind off 10 sts. at the beginning of each row twice each side. Bind off.

RIGHT FRONT:

Cast on 47 sts. knit for 4 rows making a buttonhole on the 5th row as follows — K2, bind off 2 sts. knit across row, knit back casting on 2 sts. over the bound off sts. now work in pattern making a buttonhole every 12th row twice more. (More)


Sleeveless Cardigan

BACK:

Cast on 70 sts. K 1, P 1 for 2 rows, then work in pattern as follows: * K 1, P 1, for 4 rows, knit for 4 rows, repeat from * to underarm 14 inches. Bind off 6 sts. each side, work until armhole measures 7 ½ inches. Bind off 10 sts. at the beginning of each row twice each side. Bind off.

LEFT FRONT:

Cast on 40 sts. work the same as back to underarm, bind off 6 sts. at underarm then K2 tog. at neck edge every other row until 20 sts. are left. Work until armhole measures the same as back. Bind off 10 sts. from shoulder every other row twice. (More)

BACK:

Cast on 64 sts. knit 1 row, purl 1 row, increasing 1 st. each side every 4th row 4 times. Work to underarm 7 inches. Bind off 4 sts. each side, then k 2 tog. each side every other row 4 times. Work even until armhole measures 8 inches. Bind off 9 sts. at the beginning of each row twice each side. Bind off.

With #6 needles cast on 71 sts. work in ribbing of K1, P1 for 4 inches. Raglan V Neck

BACK:

With #6 needles cast on 72 sts. work in ribbing of K1, P1 for 4 inches. Change to #8 needles, knit 1 row, purl 1 row to underarm, 14 inches. Bind off 2 sts. each side then K2, slip 1, K1, pass slip st over. Work to last 4 sts. K 2 tog. K2, Purl back. Repeat these 2 rows 23 times. Bind off.

FRONT:

Work the same as back to underarm. Bind off 2 sts. each side, part work in center and work one side at a time, decreasing 1 st. at neck edge every 3rd row 9 times. Decrease armhole the same as back until 2 sts. are left. Bind off. Work other side the same. (More)

BACK:

Cast on 72 sts. work in ribbing of K1, P1 for 4 inches. Increase 1 st. work in pattern as follows:

K2, P2 across the row, ending K1, this one row forms pattern, work 13 ½ inches to underarm. Bind off 6 sts. each side, work until armhole measures 7 ½ inches. Bind off 10 sts. at the beginning of each row twice each side. Then work in ribbing of K1, P1 for 6 inches. Bind off. (More)
