Wind yarn 80 times over a 3 inch cardboard, cut one end, tie in center then tie about ¾ inch down from top. Trim tassel.

Plastic crochet hook No. 3.
This shrug can be made with any of the following:

Afghan hook Size F.
1 pr. plastic knitting needles No. 2.
GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch.
Using 10—16 inch strands work same as double knot fringe.
Next Row: Take each group of fringe and knot about ½ inch from last row of knots.
Next Row: * Take half of one group of fringe and half of next group of fringe, knot together ½ inch from last row of knots, repeat from * across row. Trim fringe evenly.
